ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi responds overmedia reports of US President Donald Trump visit to Pakistan.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that US President DonaldTrump expressed his willingness to visit Pakistan.
In a statement, he said the US president considers Pakistan as an importantcountry and he wants to promote bilateral relations between the twocountries, Radio Pakistan reported on Thursday.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi warned that deterioration of situation in occupiedKashmir or a conflict in South Asia will leave negative impact on theregional economy.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has effectively and fiercely presented its stanceon important matters, he said.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday had said that theUnited States (US) President Donald Trump has assured them of visitingPakistan soon.
The foreign minister had said this while talking exclusively to the ARYNEWS after a Pakistani-delegation led by the Prime Minister Imran Khan metthe US President Donald Trump at the sidelines of the Davoslink conference.
“We had a very fruitful meeting with the US president,” said the foreignminister adding that that the prime minister raised key issues with the USpresident during the meeting.
