ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed PTV to focus onhighlighting country’s soft image, national heritage, and ideology ofPakistan.
He was chairing a meeting over reforms in Pakistan Television in Islamabadon Wednesday.
The Prime Minister asked the PTV administration to evolve a coordinatedplan to overcome financial difficulties of the organization.
The Prime Minister was briefed that PTV is facing outstanding amount of 5.8billion rupees, while it has to pay 14 billion rupees to pensioners, and1.2 billion rupees are further needed to upgrade its network.
Managing Director PTV Arshad Khan presented a cheque of eight millionrupees on behalf of PTV employees to Prime Minister Imran Khan for dam fund.
