Sindh High Court in Karachi on Monday conducted hearing of the petition seeking inquiry into all the encounters carried out by suspended SSP Rao Anwar since last year.
During the hearing, the court issued notices to the IG Sindh, provincial home secretary, suspended SSP Rao Anwar, Prosecutor General Sindh and other officials for 20th of next month.
It may be pointed that SSP Malir Rao Anwar is suspended for allegedly carrying out a fake encounter of Naqeebullah Mehsud in Karachi on 13th of this month.
Naqeebullah Mehsud’s family claims that he was not involved in any criminal activity and was in Karachi for business.
