Federal Minister for Energy, Muhammad Ali, has stated that they are importing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) at $15 per million British thermal units (MMBTU) and supplying it at $13.5 per MMBTU.

Due to this deficit, they cannot provide gas 24 hours a day, so there will be gas load shedding even during the winter season. While speaking to the media alongside MD Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, Amir Tufail, Federal Minister for Energy, Muhammad Ali, mentioned that they are importing LNG to keep industries running.

He also mentioned that MD Sui Northern has established a modern complaints center, and now consumer complaints will be addressed within seven days. New software has been provided for the immediate resolution of complaints.

On this occasion, MD Sui Northern, Amir Tufail, stated that gas theft and leakages are also being specifically monitored, and the complaints center will directly oversee the management's work.
