Baku / Islamabad: Azerbaijan's national airline, AZAL, has announced the commencement of direct flights to Pakistan starting today.
According to reports, the inaugural flight of Azerbaijan Airlines will arrive at Lahore Airport tonight at 11:40 PM. In this inaugural flight, 15 passengers will travel from Baku to Lahore, and 80 passengers will journey from Lahore to Baku.
In the initial phase, there will be two weekly flights between Lahore and Baku. At Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport, the Minister of Aviation and Azerbaijan's Ambassador will welcome the inaugural flight.
Water salute will be presented to Azerbaijan's inaugural flight at the airport. The airline has also introduced the convenience of ticket booking for passengers through a mobile application and website.
