Islamabad: Former Interior Minister and senior leader of the Muslim League (N) Rana Sanaullah has revealed a covert plan to extend the tenure of former Army Chief General (R) Qamar Javed Bajwa during his employment.
In a private news channel's talk show, when Rana Sanaullah was asked if his party had been responsible for the three-year extension in Qamar Javed Bajwa's tenure, he admitted to it.
He said that they provided assistance to the former Army Chief by granting the extension to overthrow the PTI chairman. He mentioned that some decisions are made as per the demands of the time and are part of the strategy.
The former Interior Minister's statement has opened a new Pandora's box.
