BRUSSELS: Death toll in 7 Brussels blasts reached 32 with score injured.
Twin blasts occurred at airport and other four at Brussels’ Maalbeak and Schuman Metro Stations which are close to the building of NATO headquarters and European Parliament.
While the 7th blast occurred near the Royal Palace when security forces were called for checking of suspected item on a wall.
Two blasts occurred at the entrance point of airport which lead to several causalities and injuries.
Rescue teams and investigation authorities rushed towards the incident spots.
All operations have been cancelled by the airport management which also tweeted a relevant message.
The attacks come just after the days of arrest of Paris attack’s master mind Salah Abdesalam from Brussels.
Belgian Prime Minister Michel said “What we were fearing has happened, they have striked us in a cowardly way.”
Belgium’s Interior Minister Jan Jambon warned on Monday that country is on possible highest level of threat after arrest of Salah Abdeslam.
None of the terrorist organization has claimed the responsibility yet.
