ISLAMABAD-Gilgit Baltistan Assembly today (Monday) approved over 68 billion rupees budget for next fiscal year. In the budget 35. 8 billion for rupees allocated for non-development and 25 billion rupees development.
Winding up debate on Budget, Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman welcomed the cut motion and suggestions presented by the members.
He assured to accommodate the suggestions of the members. He said budget has been prepared keeping in view the international index for development.
The members appreciated the Government for 78 percent enhance in Public sector development from three billion to over ten billion rupees for next fiscal year.
Speaker adjourned the session till indefinite time.
