ISLAMABAD-In occupied Kashmir, All Parties Hurriyat Conference has called for a complete strike on Friday to send once again a clear message to India and world at large that Kashmiri people reject New Delhi’s illegal occupation of their homeland.

In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesman said India is following policy of Israel to change territorial integrity and demographic composition of occupied Kashmir.

He revealed that people from across the territory especially living near military camps have been complaining that they were being forcibly evicted from their lands.

The spokesman said Indian government planned to construct 200,000 houses for RSS goons on these grabbed lands.

The spokesman, however, made it clear that as long as a single Indian soldier was present in occupied territory, Kashmiris would continue their resistance against all odds.

He appealed to imams and khateebs of mosques to lead public demonstrations after prayers on Friday.

He said pro-freedom slogans would be raised from mosques and shrines and a complete blackout would be observed from Maghrib to Isha prayers, on this day, in protest against New Delhi’s settlement plan.

On the other hand, the posting for longer period in the occupied territory has increased the incidents of suicide and fratricide among Indian troops.

Psychiatrists say the guilt of killing, arresting, torturing and committing other atrocities on innocent Kashmiris without any reason is also leaving a deep impact on the psychology of the Indian forces’ personnel.

From January 2007 till now, 458 Indian troops and police personnel have committed suicides only in occupied Kashmir.
