GARH MAHARAJA – The 327th Urs celebrations of Sufi saint Hazrat Sultan Bahu will start in Garh Maharaja near Shorkot in District Jhang today (Thursday).
The two-day long festival will commence with laying 1400 chaddars (shawls) at the shrine. The Urs is celebrated every year on the first Thursday of Jamadi-us-Sani.
Millions of devotees and visitors from all parts of the country are expected to reach Garh Maharaja to attend Hazrat Sultan Bahu Urs and offer special prayers.
Tight security arrangements have been made for the occasion. Heavy contingents of police will be deployed for security during the Urs.
