*KARACHI: After transforming Lahore into Paris now *Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif vowed to “transform Karachi into New York” if Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is elected to power in Sindh.
“I have not come here for political point scoring. Trust me, if PML-N is elected to power in Sindh, we will turn Karachi into New York,” CM Punjab said while speaking during meetings with political leaders from Sindh.
Shehbaz, who is on a two-day visit to Karachi, visited Awami National Party (ANP)’s Mardan house and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Bahadurabad leaders.
While speaking to the media along with ANP leader Shahi Syed at Mardan house, Shehbaz said that Karachi is the face of Pakistan and that “we will restore its reputation.”
