LAHORE – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a supplementaryreference in Accountability Courtagainst Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PMLN) president and Leader of the Opposition in the National AssemblyShahbaz Sharif and 12 others including Ahad Cheema in Ashiana Housingscandal.
According to details, the inquiry in the said reference was initiated onJanuary 10 while investigation into the corruption charges began on May 4this year.
Sharif and his alleged accomplices are accused of misusing authority andsubsequent embezzlement of funds which caused a heavy loss to the nationalexchequer.

Meanwhile, Shehbaz Sharif’s residence in Ministers’ Enclave in Islamabadhas been declared a sub-jail and his travel to Lahore has been cancelledgiven his medical condition requiring examination by doctors in coming days.
