TEHRAN – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched large-scalemilitary maneuvers in Persian Gulf near the strategic Hormuz Strait.
Iranian state television reported on Saturday that The “Great Prophet 12”exercises are taking place with participation of offensive and logisticshelicopters, drones and special forces units.
The military maneuvers coincide with a recent presence of a U.S. aircraftcarrier in the Gulf waters.
