The central bank’s foreign exchange reserves rose 1.5pc on a weekly basis,according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday.
On November 13, the foreign currency reserves held by the SBP were recordedat $12,931.2 million, up $191 million compared with $12,740.5 million inthe previous week.
The overall liquid foreign currency reserves held by the country, includingnet reserves held by banks other than the SBP, stood at $20,085.6 million.Net reserves held by banks amounted to $7,154.4 million.
The central bank cited no reason for the increase in reserves.
