For the first time in history, Pakistan to unveil poverty alleviation policy

*ISLAMABAD – For the first time in history, Pakistan prepares a policy forthe alleviation of poverty.*

Prime Minister Imran Khan has given the approval to draft a policy and workis being done on an emergency basis.

The policy will be announced on November 25, Sunday.

According to the United Nations annual report, 39% of Pakistan’s populationlives in poverty. People who earn less than Rs3,030 per month are livingbelow the poverty line.

Imran Khan has spoken on different occasions about taking help from Chinato alleviate poverty.
