India sent 38.5 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the Sinai region in Egypt forPalestinian civilians from Gaza. The aid, transported by an Indian airforce Boeing C-17 plane, consisted of approximately 6.5 tonnes of medicalsupplies and 32 tonnes of disaster relief materials.
These included life-saving medicines, surgical equipment, tents, sleepingbags, tarpaulins, sanitary utilities, and water purification tablets, amongother essential items.
This humanitarian effort comes in the context of the recent conflictbetween Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
