The Meteorological Department has issued the fourth alert regarding thecoastal hurricane; however, there is no threat of a hurricane to anycoastal area of Pakistan.
According to the Meteorological Department, the hurricane Tej is at adistance of 750 kilometers from Sallalah, with airspeeds of 100 to 110kilometers per hour at the hurricane’s center, and waves around thehurricane are rising to 25 feet.
According to officials, Karachi is 1,880 kilometers away from thehurricane, while Gwadar is 1,677 kilometers away. The MeteorologicalDepartment says that the temperature in Karachi may range from 33 to 37degrees Celsius today.

On the other hand, in view of the threat of the coastal hurricane, theProvincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Balochistan has issuedan alert, giving instructions for immediate action to the DeputyCommissioners of Gwadar, Lasbela, and Hub.
