KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar has said the party’s elected officials have sent their resignations to him and the party will [soon] decide on resigning from the Senate, provincial and national assemblies.

He is addressing the media in Karachi after a party meeting. MQM resignation would come as a big blow to the government and as well as the political system in the country.
