During the ongoing visit of Pakistan’s caretaker Minister for Interior,Sarfraz Ahmad Bugti, to China, both nations have reaffirmed theirunwavering commitment to strengthening their existing collaboration. Thisdetermination was articulated during a bilateral meeting between InteriorMinister Sarfraz Bugti and his Chinese counterpart, Wang Xiao Hong, whoserves as a Member of the Secretariat of CPC Central Committee, StateCouncilor, and Minister for Public Security, in Lianyungang City during theGlobal Public Security Cooperation Forum 2023.
In response to the welcoming remarks from the host minister, Bugtiexpressed gratitude on behalf of the Pakistani delegation for the warmreception and hospitality extended by the Chinese government. He emphasizedthat China is a steadfast and enduring strategic ally, conveying deepappreciation from the government and people of Pakistan for China’sconsistent and unconditional support throughout various challenges.
Bugti also provided an overview to the host minister of the securitymeasures implemented by Pakistan to ensure the complete protection ofChinese personnel involved in diverse projects within Pakistan, aiming fora better future for the Pakistani populace.
