Federal Minister for Energy, Muhammad Ali, has stated that they areimporting Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) at $15 per million British thermalunits (MMBTU) and supplying it at $13.5 per MMBTU.
Due to this deficit, they cannot provide gas 24 hours a day, so there willbe gas load shedding even during the winter season. While speaking to themedia alongside MD Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, Amir Tufail, FederalMinister for Energy, Muhammad Ali, mentioned that they are importing LNG tokeep industries running.
He also mentioned that MD Sui Northern has established a modern complaintscenter, and now consumer complaints will be addressed within seven days.New software has been provided for the immediate resolution of complaints.
