In Islamabad, the Supreme Court of Pakistan, under the approval of ChiefJustice Qazi Faez Isa, has announced a significant reorganization of itsadministrative staff. On Friday, the apex court released notificationsdetailing transfers and the conclusion of appointments.
Amer Saleem Rana, who held the position of District & Sessions Judge(grade 21) while serving as an additional registrar (grade 21) onsecondment at the Supreme Court, has been returned to his originaldepartment, the Lahore High Court.
Furthermore, the Supreme Court has confirmed that Munawar Ali, a seniorcivil judge (grade 19) who had been diligently serving as deputy registrar(grade 20) while on secondment, is now scheduled to go back to his homedepartment, the Sindh High Court in Karachi.
In another notification, Muhammad Akram Soomro, a senior auditor (grade17) who was working as an assistant accounts officer (grade 17) onsecondment in the Supreme Court, is set to return to his parent department,the Accountant General Pakistan Revenues in Islamabad, on September 22,2023.
Lastly, Muhammad Owais, a senior civil judge-cum-magistrate (grade 19) whohad temporarily taken on the role of deputy registrar (grade 20) at theSupreme Court, is expected to return to the Lahore High Court, effectiveSeptember 22, 2023.
