Islamabad: Former Interior Minister and senior leader of the Muslim League(N) Rana Sanaullah has revealed a covert plan to extend the tenure offormer Army Chief General (R) Qamar Javed Bajwa during his employment.
In a private news channel’s talk show, when Rana Sanaullah was asked if hisparty had been responsible for the three-year extension in Qamar JavedBajwa’s tenure, he admitted to it.
He said that they provided assistance to the former Army Chief by grantingthe extension to overthrow the PTI chairman. He mentioned that somedecisions are made as per the demands of the time and are part of thestrategy.
The former Interior Minister’s statement has opened a new Pandora’s box.
