ISLAMABAD – NAB rings the alarm bells as Major decision taken over megacorruption references by the Chairman.
Chairman NAB Justice Javed Iqbal has said that NAB looks at the case, notface. The country will be cleansed of all forms of corruption.
According to details, Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB),Justice Justice Javed Iqbal is determined to bring corruption cases to alogical end. NAB, in a major declaration, has decided to file petitions forhearing of the pending 1210 reference in the courts.
Chairman NAB Javed Iqbal said in a statement that in the 22 months, 600references have been filed in the courts. Rs 71 billion was deposited inthe national treasury as well as the 43 accused involved in the scam andconspiracy scandal.
Javed Iqbal said the conviction rate for corrupt elements is 70%. Gallupand Galloway surveys are proof of public trust in the NAB.
