ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has taken a strong exceptionover cancellation of talks from India.
He expressed disappointment over India’s refusal to carry out meeting atUnited Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
PM Imran took to social-networking site Twitter and posted, “Disappointedat the arrogant and negative response by India to my call for resumption ofthe peace dialogue. “
“However, all my life I have come across small men occupying big officeswho do not have the vision to see the larger picture,” he added.
Earlier Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that India has onceagain demonstrated hesitation, adding that he was shocked and surprisedwith the development. Dialogues are the only way to resolve all outstandingissues, he asserted.
The minister said that Pakistan wishes improvement in the region but lookslike New Delhi has other priorities. “Our attitude is positive but Indiafailed to get out of politics,” he continued.
