Discussions Held on Regional Security and Bilateral Cooperation
*Islamabad:*Chinese Foreign Minister *Wang Yi*, along with his high-level delegation,met with Chief of Army Staff *Field Marshal General Asim Munir* inIslamabad. During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment topromoting peace and stability in the region while strengthening bilateralties.
According to sources, the talks covered key issues including *regionalsecurity, counter-terrorism, and defense cooperation*. Both countriesemphasized that the Pakistan-China partnership holds critical importancefor peace, development, and prosperity in the region.
Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated that China attaches strategic importance toits relations with Pakistan and expressed the resolve to enhancecooperation at all levels in the future. General Asim Munir, on his part,described the Pakistan-China friendship as a guarantor of stability in theregion and reiterated that both nations have the capacity to face allchallenges together.
