*RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army leadership has reaffirmed the resolve to respondto the entire spectrum of threats in the most befitting manner in line witha comprehensive security strategy, the military’s media wing said onFriday.*
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a meeting of theChairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and all Service Chiefs washeld at the Joint Staff Headquarters (JSHQ) to discuss defence and securityenvironment.
General Nadeem Raza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, presidedover the meeting, which was attended by COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa,Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi and Chief of AirStaff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.
The military’s media wing added that the forum was given a detailedbriefing on a review of national security situation specific to westernborder, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.

The forum also discussed fast-paced developments in the realm of strategicand conventional policies, the importance of peace in Afghanistan forsustainable development in the region and the operational preparedness ofthe armed forces.
The participants also reaffirmed the resolve of the armed forces to respondto the entire spectrum of threats in the most befitting manner in line witha comprehensive security strategy. They also lauded the sacrifices ofsecurity agencies in the fight against terrorism.
