RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi hasbeen shifted to Adiala Jail after he was declared convict by anti-narcoticscourt in ephedrine quota case.
Hanif Abbasi had provided legal use of as much as 363KG ephedrine whereashe was failed to submit the evidence pertaining to legal usage of 137KGephedrine in the court.
Judge Sardar Muhammad Akram pronounced the judgment and also imposed a fineof Rs1 million on the PML-N leader.
On the other hand, seven other accused in ephedrine case were acquitted bythe court.
