The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has issued show cause notices tothree former cricketers over fake degrees and providing wrong data for theofficial records.
All three players, who have been issued show cause notices, haverepresented Pakistan on an international level.
Former cricketer Zahid Ahmed has been issued the show cause notice for fakedegrees and providing wrong data. Former Test cricketer Azeem Hafeez hasbeen issued a show cause notice for fake degrees while former cricketerFaisal Iqbal, who is the nephew of batting great Javed Miandad, has beenissued a show cause notice for providing the wrong name and year of birth.
