ISLAMABAD – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on ParliamentaryCoordination Monday rejected reports of leaving the ruling PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Earlier, PM’s special aide on political communication Shehbaz Gill had alsosaid that Chan had not left the party, saying he is currently in abroad forpersonal engagements.
It emerged earlier today that Chan had announced to part his ways withPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to details, Nadeem Afzal Chan, who is currently on leave to visithis ailing parents, has announced to leave the ruling party.
He also shared his intentions to re-join the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Nadeem Afzal Chan has already submitted his resignation from the post ofspecial assistant to the Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The decision to either accept or reject his resignation is pending.
On 15 January 2019, Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed Chan as hisspokesperson, in honorary capacity. The same day, he was also appointed asSpecial Assistant to the Prime Minister Imran Khan on ParliamentaryCoordination.
