ISLAMABAD – Minister for Planning and Development Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiarsays the incumbent government is working to bridge the import-export gap.
Talking to a private news channel, he said government has reduced thecurrent account deficit, left by the previous regime of Pakistan MuslimLeague-Nawaz.
The Minister said PML-N government had maintained the dollar price throughartificially means and had injected some 9 billion dollars in cash in themarket for the purpose.
Replying to a question, he said a charter of economy is need of the hourand all the parties should rise above their political affiliations for thepurpose.
