ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of China to Pakistan Yao Jing on Wednesdayappreciated the steps taken by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) tofacilitate the taxpayers.

During a call on meeting with FBR Chairman Syed Muhammad Shabbar Zaidi, heparticularly lauded the measures that focused on redressing the grievancesof taxpayers.

According to an FBR statement, the ambassador welcomed the appointment ofSyed Shabbar Zaidi as chairman of the board and expressed hope that underhis command, the FBR would be able to devise a strategy to achieve itstargets in the long run.

The ambassador said that State Taxation Administration of the People’sRepublic of China would be willing to cooperate with FBR to enable both thedepartments learn each other’s best practices for mutual benefit.
