ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi Monday said that Pakistanneeded to have a stable and peaceful border with its neighboring countries,including Iran, to check cross border terrorism.
Talking to a private media channel, he said Pakistan had already shared thedetails of Ormara terror incident with Iranian authorities.
Pakistan had also helped Iran in recovering their kidnapped border guardpersonnel, he added.He said that Afghanistan and Iranian territories were being used forcarrying out terror acts in Pakistan.
He said that he had a telephonic conversation with his Iranian counterpartJawad Zarif on April 20 and took him into confidence about Omara incidentwho promised to address Pakistan’s concern.
He said that everyone knew that India was behind terrorist activities inBalochistan.
