The Lahore High Court on Wednesday rejected former human rights ministerand PTI leader Shireen Mazari’s plea seeking court order to restrainauthorities from harassing her and taking any punitive action against her.
Fearing her arrest, the former human rights minister filed an applicationin the Lahore High Court seeking detail of cases registered against her.She also pleaded with the court to restrain the Federal InvestigationAgency and police from harassing and taking punitive action against her.
However, the court rejected her petition for restraining authorities totake action against her. It ordered the concerned officials to take actionas per the law.
The court also sought replies from the FIA DG, Punjab IG police and otherrespondents till March 27.
