LAHORE – Lahore High Court (LHC) Monday suspended the ruling of districtand session’s court order which ordered the federal investigators to lodgea case against Pakistani captain and two others for allegedly blackmailingand harassing to former class fellow.
Justice Asjad Javed Gharral while hearing the plea of the 26-year-oldcricketer issued the notices to the Federal Investigation Agency andcomplainant Hamiza Mukhtar seeking their replies in the case.
The court also ordered to combine an earlier application of Babar againstthe registering of the case against him with his new application andordered to set a date for the hearing in these cases.
On Thursday, Judge Hamid Hussain of sessions court directed the FIA to bookAzam as it was revealed that the numbers involved in blackmailing andharassment belong to Babar Azam and two women, identified as Maryam Ahmedand Salemi Bibi.
