*ISLAMABAD: Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Muhammad will beconferred with Pakistan’s highest civilian award Nishan-e-Pakistan onFriday at the President House.*

In a special ceremony today, President Arif Alvi will honor the Malaysianpremier with the award.

Earlier today, Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad was presented a guard ofhonour at the Prime Minister House.

Following the ceremony, Pakistan and Malaysia signed five memorandums ofunderstanding in various sectors.

In his informal talk with the reporters Finance Minister Asad Umar saidthat Malaysia has expressed interest in buying meat and rice from Pakistan.

The Malaysian delegation also showed their interest in buying Pakistanimade JF-17 Thunder fighter jets.
