MOHALI: Pakistan Cricket Team T20 captain Shahid Khan Afridi claimed that he doesn’t watch Twitter or Facebook and focusing only on the game for better results.
He said “Even before the tournament started, people had written us off. I have stayed away from Twitter and Facebook, but I know how people are reacting back home.”
Afridi claimed that I know the backlash from cricket fans and we have to focus on the game and we will perform well against New Zealand.
He said “If you create a panic situation in the team, it will be difficult to sort things out. Miracles always don’t work in cricket. We have to stop repeating small mistakes and play good.”
Recently Pakistan cricket team performed very poor against India in their 2nd T20 world cup match at Eden Gardens Kolkata on March 19.
An angry backlash from fans was seen after the match.
Pakistan will play against New Zealand on march 22 at Mohali cricket stadium.
