ISLAMABAD – Pakistan defeated South Africa in first One Day International(ODI) and with that victory, the green shirts have now most wins among theAsian cricket teams against Proteas on their home ground.
In a Facebook post, cricket writer Saif wrote about the record of Asianteams in South Africa. “With yesterday’s win over South Africa, Pakistanrecords most number of wins among Asians in South Africa vs South Africa(It was Pakistan’s 11th ODI win in SA vs SA),” he wrote, further sharingthe record he shared the chart:
Most Wins vs SA away:Pakistan: 11 in 30 games.India: 10 in 34 games.Sri Lanka: 7 in 28 games.Pakistan already had better w/l ratio but had 10 wins shared with India.
