JERUSALEM – Israel in cooperation with the American Missile Defense Agencysuccessfully tested a system to intercept ballistic missiles outside theatmosphere in central Israel today.
Israeli Defence Ministry described the anti-ballistic missile test as animportant milestone in Israel’s capability in defending itself againstexistential threats.
