ISLAMABAD: (APP) Sections of motorway from Islamabad to Lahore and Peshawar will remain closed for all kinds of traffic due to construction work on September 21 and 22.
Motorway Islamabad-Peshawar (M-1) Burhan to Swabi section will be barred for traffic on September 21 from 2 a.m to September 22 2 p.m due to construction, a press release said on Tuesday.

The traffic going towards Peshawar shall depart from Burhan interchange to Grand Trunk (GT) road and the traffic coming from Peshawar to Islamabad shall depart from Swabi interchange to GT road.

Motorway Islamabad-Lahore (M-2) Kala Shah Kaku to Sheikhupura section will be barred for traffic on September 22 from 5 a.m morning to 5 p.m evening due to construction of road.
The traffic going towards Lahore and coming from Lahore shall depart from Sheikhupura interchange to GT road.
Motorway police has requested the road users to use alternate GT road during the closure.
