Kashmir Super League: Green Kashmir defeats White Kashmir in opening T-20

MUZAFFARABAD: (APP) The Green Kashmir interestingly beat White Kashmir by two wickets before ten bolls to spare in inaugural T-20 match of Kashmir Super League (KSL).

The first ever T-20 match of KSL was played in Nidol Stadium between Green Kashmir and White Kashmir.

The Captain of White Kashmir Imran Farhat while winning the toss decided to bat first and made 144 runs in allotted 20 over's.

Hiumayun Farhat scored 64 while Rffatullah -7, Zaka Qurashi- 13, Azhar-15, Raja Liaqat 10 and Captain Imran Farhut lost his wicket without scoring.

Bowlers of Green Kashmir, Ahmed Dar took four wickets, Bilawal Bhatti and Rashid Naseer took two wickets each.

While responding, the Green Kashmir reached the target in 18.2 Over's. Mukhtar Ahmed scored 62, Raja Naeem- 18, Ali Khan 33, Rashid Naseer- 03, Noman Qadri-07 and Bilawal Bhatti scored 02 runs.

Imran Farhat and Zaka Qureshi took two wickets each from White Kashmir while Azhar and Ali Khan took one wicket each.

Himyun Farhat and Mukhtar Ahmed were declared Man of the match and were given cash awards. Former Minister Sports Salim Bhatt, and DG Sports Parvez Awan watched the inaugural T20 of Kashmir Super league.

The stadium was jam packed of thousands of spectators who stormed in the stadium three hours early before the match started.
