A tense situation unfolded at Delhi Airport when an Akasa Airlines flight from Pune, carrying 185 passengers, made an emergency landing due to a bomb threat. A passenger claimed there was a bomb in their luggage.
According to media reports, the flight had boarded from Pune just 40 minutes before the emergency landing. After the aircraft's abrupt landing based on the passenger's information, a bomb squad team conducted a search of the passenger's belongings but found no suspicious items.
The passenger who had reported the bomb threat complained of chest pain and was taken to the hospital after receiving medical attention. Following clearance from the police, the flight resumed its journey from Mumbai Airport to Delhi around 6 am.
Further investigations into the incident are ongoing by the police.
