The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab chapter has announced plans to organize a workers' convention in Lahore on October 22. This convention is scheduled to take place at Kahna in Lahore, commencing at 3 pm. PTI's leadership has called upon its party members and supporters to actively participate in this event.

However, it's worth noting that the district coordination officer (DCO) had previously denied a PTI request for a party gathering at Liberty Roundabout. This decision raised questions regarding the neutrality of the caretaker government in the eyes of PTI.

Shoaib Shaheen, a lawyer representing PTI, asserted that the party had submitted over 100 applications seeking permission to hold public gatherings and rallies, yet none of them were approved.

Shaheen also expressed doubts about the Election Commission of Pakistan's (ECP) capacity to address the perceived injustices inflicted upon PTI. These developments highlight the political tensions and challenges faced by PTI in organizing public events and rallies.
