Abid Boxer has said that in two days he will reveal a list of people whom Shehbaz Sharif wanted to have killed.
Abid, whose real name is Abid Hussain Qureshi, is wanted in over a dozen cases of murder, attempted murder and land-grabbing.
In February, the media reported that the former Punjab police officer was arrested in the UAE after a red warrant was issued for him and he was brought back to Pakistan with the help of Interpol. However, the authorities claimed that he has yet to be extradited to Pakistan.
Abid told that when he found out that warrants had been issued for his arrest in four murder cases, he knew it involved Shehbaz.
His claimed that the PML-N president’s right hand man Umar Virk added his name in these FIRs.
He appealed to the chief justice to form a JIT to investigate his case. “I will present evidence to them that till prove my innocence,” he said.
Abid disputed the claim that he has been involved in fake encounters. “People tried to make me [kill people] in fake encounters. I was asked to murder five people,” he revealed.
He said he will reveal the names of people whom Shehbaz wanted to have killed in two days.
He said that he can provide evidence in the cases against him to the JIT, which should be headed by a senior officer.
No political party is supporting me right now, he said. However, he said that because of his innocence, he believes some parties should support him.
