During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest particularly the situation on Line of Control.
They also discussed the current situation in the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IoJ&K).
On January 16, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at the PM Office.
During the meeting, the security situation in the country and matters of mutual interests were discussed.
They also pledged to take the country towards the path of development.
The two also exchanged views on prevailing issues regarding the regional security amid current situation in the Middle East.
PM Imran also appreciated Pakistan Army’s role in rescue and relief operation in snow-hit areas of Pakistan.
