ISLAMABAD – The meeting of Health Task Force was held in Islamabad today(Friday) with Prime Minister Imran Khan in the chair.

During the meeting, Minister for National Health Services, Regulations andCoordination Aamir Mehmood Kiani gave a detailed briefing to the PrimeMinister about steps taken for bringing betterment in the healthcarefacilities in the federal capital.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized the need for payingspecial attention to increase country’s export potential in the medicalsector.

The meeting was also briefed about the measures regarding upgradation oflaboratories and research in the country.

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid briefed the Prime Minister over theprogress regarding Medical Teaching Institute Act.
