ISLAMABAD – Accountability Court Judge Arshad Malik has started writingthe verdict in the Al-Azizia and Flagship references against former primeminister Nawaz Sharif.

The judge, while hearing the plea of Nawaz Sharif’s counsels to announcethe verdict on December 24, remarked that he will try his best to announcethe verdict on December 24. “I will change the verdict date, if I could notwrite it,” he said.

Despite the holiday after Friday prayers, the judge remained in JudicialComplex and perused the documents. He also directed the staff to remain incourt late night as well their ensure presence on Saturday and Sunday.

The reserved verdict in the Al-Azizia and Flagship references will beannounced on December 24.
