NEW YORK – The UN Security Council to hold meeting on Afghanistan’s situation on Thursday.
The UN Security Council has scheduled the next briefing to discuss Secretary-General António Guterres’ latest report on the situation in Afghanistan on Thursday.
The meeting will take place at about 7:30pm Kabul time and Tadamichi Yamamoto, the secretary-general’s special representative for Afghanistan, will brief the Security Council as part of the session, a statement from UNAMA said.
