Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called on Saudi King Salman in Riyadh.

According to state news agency SPA, in the meeting Saudi King reiterated his kingdom’s support for the right of Palestinians to an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Saudi Arabia has condemned President Donald Trump’s decision recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
