RAWALPINDI – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwavisited the Line of Control (LoC), said an ISPR press release issued hereWednesday.The General Officer Commanding (GOC) gave the COAS update on the situationalong the LoC, Indian ceasefire violations (CFVs) and response by thePakistan Army. Later, the COAS interacted with troops.The COAS appreciated their state of readiness and morale. He alsoappreciated the resilience of civilian Kashmiri population, who are beingdeliberately targeted by the Indian Army on both sides of the LOC.He said lately there had been increase in Indian CFVs and rhetoric ofprovocative statements by their military leadership.”We are a professional and combat hardened army ready to defend ourmotherland. It would be better if they realise this and place their stockin peace and progress through dialogue.”
