ISLAMABAD – Three Pakistani players selected for inaugural ‘The Hundred’,four top names missed out from the prestigious league.
Pakistan number one T20 batsman Babar Azam and legend Shahid Afridi wasn’tselected for the inaugural ‘The Hundred’ competition next year.
The Twenty20 stalwarts Chris Gayle and Lasith Malinga were also amongnotable omissions in Sunday’s draft. Mohammad Amir, Shadab Khan and ShaheenShah Afridi are the only three player who have been selected as theparticipants of the 100-ball format.
Rashid, the no. 1 Twenty20 bowler, was snared by Trent Rockets for the topprice of £125,000.
